There is a theory that the movies frankenweenie, corpse bride,and nightmare before christmas are based in the same universe and its all one giant movie.The reason many people belive in this theory is because in all the movies there is a dog which starts off as a corpse then turns into a skeleton and then is a spirit. The male lead in these movies has a childhood, an adult stage which in both frankenweenie and corpse bride they have the same first name "victor" and the undead stage where his name would have been changed to "jack skellington" which if you look at the movies order backwords it makes sense. so many people belive his movies are all part of one whole cycle and is one whole movie telling the story of a man and his dog.
